SRC

SRC

The Student Representative Council (SRC) is formed at the beginning of the year. Teachers and students in Years 1-6 nominate two students from their class to represent their voice.

Weekly SRC meetings are held on Wednesdays during lunchtime by the SRC coordinator. These meetings are where the SRC discuss issues relevant to the school, work on initiatives to benefit the broader community, and raise awareness for significant events or current crises.

Past SRC fundraisers include mufti and donations for the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, bushfire appeals, and the Australian droughts.

Another significant focus for the SRC is promoting awareness of the importance of caring for our environment. SRC participate in 'Waste Free Days', Clean Up Australia Day and other significant events that benefit the school and teach students the importance of having a clean environment.
