STEM+ Enrichment Class - Coming in 2026
Waverley Public School is introducing a selective academic class for students in Years 5 and 6. The enrichment class promotes engagement and challenge, with a focus on growing academic achievement across the curriculum. Learning has a particular focus on the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Building on strong practices, the class maximises learning through an enriched or extended curriculum.
This is a full-time enrichment class. The learning is developed to challenge high potential and gifted students in Years 5 and 6 beyond the typical level of same-aged students.
The class will commence in 2026. Students currently in Years 4 and 5 from all school sectors may apply for 2026 entry. Applications close 5pm on Thursday 23 October 2025.
